I have an existing subscription program, are migrations available for the new Bold Subscriptions on Shopify?

Migrations are not currently available for the new Bold Subscriptions on Shopify from either Bold Subscriptions V1 or other platforms. If you’re interested in migrating, you can sign up to get notified when migrations are available here.

Which payment gateways can I use?

Bold Subscriptions works seamlessly with Shopify Payments, Paypal Express and Authorize.net. If you’re currently using a non-supported payment gateway, unfortunately you will be required to replace your payment gateway with one that is compatible with subscriptions on Shopify.

Is the new Bold Subscriptions on Shopify available for Shopify Plus merchants?

Shopify Plus stores with custom storefront APIs may not be compatible with the new Bold Subscriptions. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Is Bold Subscriptions available on other platforms?

Yes, Bold Subscriptions has pre-built integrations for BigCommerce, commercetools, and WooCommerce. It can also be integrated into the ecommerce platform of your choice using our APIs. Note that Bold Subscriptions on other platforms must be used with Bold Checkout, which unlocks additional checkout customization capabilities not available with Bold Subscriptions on Shopify.

Is there a maximum number of subscribers I can migrate?

When migrations are available, there will be no limit on the number of subscribers you can migrate to Bold Subscriptions. Our migrations experts have migrated businesses with over 250,000 subscribers and will ensure a seamless transition for your business.

Will there be any interruption to my existing subscription program if I migrate?

When migrations are available, there will be no interruption to your active subscribers when moving your business to Bold Subscriptions.

Can I try Bold Subscriptions out before I buy?

Yes, we offer trials periods with waived app fees, but transaction fees still apply.

How much are setup fees?

There is no cost to setup or install Bold Subscriptions on Shopify. Our Merchant Success team is available to walk you through the steps needed to get Bold Subscriptions up and running on your store.

Do third-party integrations incur additional costs?

The new Bold Subscriptions on Shopify is integrated with Shopify Checkout. Other apps integrated with Shopify Checkout may provide additional functionality and enhancements to your subscription program. There may be additional fees associated with these integrations. Contact each app provider to find out exact rates.
