The New Initiative Enables Agencies and High-Volume Brands to Improve Their Checkout Performance; Eliminate Business Risks That Come with Increased Demand
Austin, Texas & Winnipeg, Canada – March 25, 2021
Bold Commerce, the ecommerce technology company that powers checkout, subscriptions, and pricing experiences for leading retailers and DTC brands, has announced the launch of its Early Adopter Program on WooCommerce. The company kicked off the new program by hosting select agencies for an in-depth look at the Bold checkout and subscriptions solutions for high-volume Wordpress brands using WooCommerce. In its first session, Bold Commerce hosted strategic agencies, including Crowd Favorite, Westmount Solutions, Glide Design, Logical Position, Americaneagle.com, and Inverse Paradox.
Bold’s Commerce Early Adopter Program is designed to drive understanding of the Bold Checkout Experience suite—checkout, subscriptions, and price rules— as well as to gather early feedback so the company can better serve the WordPress and WooCommerce agency communities. Subsequent sessions are scheduled for April and May of this year.
Through the Early Adopter program, Bold Commerce set out to address the business risks that high-volume brands on WooCommerce face when their checkout performance slows, their orders queue up, or their sites crash during peak traffic periods. Any one of these issues can equate to losses of tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue. Until now, however, there hasn’t been an easy or cost-effective solution for addressing them without complex replatforming.
Bold Commerce minimizes these risks and enables brands on WooCommerce to more easily customize their checkout experiences with a single Bold plugin managed through their WordPress admin. By replacing multiple plugins with the Bold plugin, brands can speed up site performance and quickly launch a more powerful and reliable checkout experience that scales as they grow.
The Bold plugin comes with customizable checkout templates, 20 payment gateways options, and pre-built technology integrations, including Bold’s subscriptions and price rules solutions. The Bold Checkout Experience Suite has met the highest standard of PCI compliance (PCI DSS Level 1), enabling brands to fast track their way to compliance by using its technology to handle their transactions. Those looking for a completely custom-built solution can opt to get a head start on development by using Bold’s headless APIs to enable commerce anywhere.
“Bold Commerce is committed to extending the functionality of the WooCommerce platform to boost checkout performance and deliver unmatched flexibility for high-growth brands and retailers,” said Mike Sanchez, Chief Revenue Officer, Bold Commerce. “We are thrilled with the growing interest for the Early Adopter program and the opportunity to bring Bold Checkout to agencies who are dedicated to delivering innovative and versatile digital experiences for their clients.”
Bold Commerce’s Early Adopter program and upcoming partnership initiatives come at a pivotal moment in the retail industry’s evolution. With the accelerated growth of online shopping and customer’s growing interest in shopping on all digital channels, brands are leaving money on the table given the checkout limitations of their ecommerce platform. Bold Commerce is meeting this moment of retail transformation with its namesake checkout solution “Bold Checkout,” an API-driven technology that enables retail brands to customize their checkouts on any digital platform they’re using to engage with consumers.
The Early Adopter Program additionally previews the upcoming rollout of the company’s “Build with Bold” partner program, and the launch of its “Build with Bold Bootcamp,” slated for June 2021. The latter will be a certification program for agencies and system integrators that build ecommerce solutions with Bold Commerce’s technology.
Through Bold Commerce, brands are able to both optimize shopper experiences with customizable checkout experiences, and grow recurring revenue with extensive subscription capabilities. In addition, brands can manage complex pricing and promotions across channels, implement ‘buy online, pick up in store’ (BOPIS), and more. This year, the company will roll out the ability for brands to enable checkout during any digital experience, beyond their traditional ecommerce channels, using the company’s Checkout Experience suite.
Bold Commerce is powering anywhere commerce for brands by delivering high-converting, customizable checkout experiences. The company works with leading omnichannel retailers like Vera Bradley, Harry Rosen, and Staples Canada, and emerging DTC brands, such as Pepsi’s Game Fuel, to reimagine commerce. Its proprietary suite of modular checkout, subscriptions and price rules solutions is compatible with multiple ecommerce platforms and headless architectures. Bold Commerce has been named to Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50, E&Y’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and CBInsights’ Retail Tech 100.
