Customer Specific Pricing Shopify App

  • OVERVIEW

Customer Specific Pricing allows for the creation of alternative pricing tiers for specific groups of customers. Customer tags are associated with these tiers, and if a tag is applied to a specific account, when they log in the appropriate price is displayed based on their tag.

There are so many more options you can use though! You can sell memberships and offer those customers a permanent discount, creating a sense of belonging. You can also use memberships to reward customers for spending more money to create loyalty or to offer wholesale prices on your store. Just imagine the marketing possibilities!

Other wholesale apps rely on coupon codes that can be easily figured out and abused. Good news: our membership app doesn’t rely on coupon codes to create special pricing! But you can still create coupon codes for promotions, wholesale, or VIP customers if you want.

  • FEATURES
    • Use this app to offer multiple levels of wholesale pricing and use your same store for wholesale and retail.
    • Allow customers to buy memberships to get discounted prices.
    • Not only can you offer store-wide discounts, but you can also specify a certain collection, product type, brand or hand pick products to go on sale.
    • Nothing creates loyalty more than automatically rewarding customers with membership statuses that include a discounted price!
    • Create personal, customized emails that automatically get sent to a customer when a customer gets auto-tagged into a new pricing group.
    • The only app that allows you to auto-tag customers by how much they spend and how many times they order.
    • The only app that allows you to auto-tag customers based on what products they buy and what country they’re from.
    • It's the only app that allows bulk pricing imports. Have all your wholesale or member pricing on a spreadsheet? No problem!
  • HOW IT WORKS

First of all, the basic way the app works is you create tags for specific groups of customers and then price levels for that customer group. Then when a customer logs in, the appropriate price is displayed based on their tag. The premium version extends the functionality to automatically tag a customer when their total spending reaches different thresholds, they've placed a certain number of orders, purchased a selected product or are from a specific country.

  • FAQ

How many different pricing tiers can I create with the app?

You'll be able to create as many pricing tiers with the app as the variant "space" for each product allows. Shopify has a variant limit of 100 per product, and the app will create app variants at the discount specified in the app, based on number of regular pre-existing variants on the selected products, and the number of tiers you have currently created.

What is the difference between Customer Pricing Groups and Detailed Pricing?

Customer pricing groups, available with the basic version of the app, and detailed pricing, available with the premium version of the app, are two different ways of applying customer pricing to products.

Applying customer pricing through customer pricing groups involves creating a group, selecting a group of products, then assigning a discount for each pricing tier within that group for those products. With the detailed pricing functionality, products and customer pricing tags are listed in a grid type format and you're able to easily specify the fixed price or discount for a particular product or variant.

Does the app have email marketing built in?

Yes! You can create personal, customized emails that automatically get sent to a customer when a customer gets auto-tagged into a new pricing group. For example, if they spend a certain amount, order a number of times, buy a certain product or move into a price level.
